A legendary watch movement
The MASTERBLOCK is equipped with a self-winding chronograph movement.
With 28,800 vibrations per hour and 25 jewels, it has exceptional precision during all seasons with +/- 5 seconds per day.
The movement displays the hours, minutes and seconds as well as the date and a day counter. The 60-seconds chronograph has counters of 30 minutes and 12 hours.
The specially customized oscillating weight with black surface treatment, created by electroplating, ensures, by its acceleration, the cooling of the caliber and supplies a power reserve of 48 hours.
Entirely polished, beaded and decorated "Côtes de Genève," this movement provides noble elegance to this disruptive timepiece.
Ntity.io is a unique and cross-blockchain framework developed by Cryptolex engineers.
Cryptolex has created an application that allows you to optimize the recording of all the steps of the assembly in order to permanently engrave a certificate based on Ntity.io.
The watchmaker launches the application Cryptolex by starting the assembly of the MASTERBLOCK timekeeper and validates each of the steps.
Once the fully-assembled MASTERBLOCK has passed all quality control tests successfully, its certificate will be edited. Cryptolex makes it then tamper-proof and inalterable by registering it in the Blockchain, and verifiable by a simple scan of the QR code.

The MASTERBLOCK is a Llimited Edition timepiece of 2'010 pieces.
It is produced exclusively in Switzerland from the number 0000 to the number 2009, the year of the launch of Bitcoin.
2008 pieces are sold on www.MASTERBLOCK.ch and two exceptional pieces will be auctioned:
*the 0000 is called 'Genesis' and represents the root (block: Genesis) in all Blockchains, upon which subsequent entries are based.
* 2009 is called 'Satoshi' in tribute to the creator of Bitcoin.
Each MASTERBLOCK timepiece conceals a secret that is a cryptographic enigma.
The network of privileged holders of the MASTERBLOCK will have the power to discover the 'Great Secret of the MASTERBLOCK.'
To do so, at least 51% of MASTERBLOCK holders will have to come together in order to collect the maximum number of clues to discover the 'Great Secret of the MASTERBLOCK.'

Cryptolex was founded by Alec Avedisyan, an EPFL engineer and crypto-prophet, and Vicken Bayramian, a legal expert specialising in trading raw materials and in Blockchain. They are believers that Blockchain technology is the greatest revolution since the creation of the Internet.

A descendant of generations of artisans and artists, Shant Ghouchian followed in the footsteps of his ancestors and studied decorative arts in Geneva. When he finished his training as a stone setter, he put his knowledge and skills to work for four years at Patek Philippe. Soon, however, his desire for independence pushed him to strike out on his own. In 2008, armed with his passion and a wealth of experience, he created a company specialising in stone setting, which he named Jewelry and Watch Settings (JWS). Recognized for his talent and skill by the biggest names in fine jewellery and timekeeping, success was not long in coming.
